WE DROVE OVER 160 MILES....I don't mind telling you why I like to shop at Lakeland. And, why we drove over 160 miles to purchase our new 2010 Honda Fit from you. I purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V from Lakeland, and that was the first time I drove over to see you from Marshfield. After shopping on the internet and deciding what vehicle I was interested in, I put out an email to 4 Honda dealers in my area. I was interested in a quote from them and their best price. Your salesperson called me directly and came up with a price which was $1300 off the sticker price. The 3 Honda dealerships closer to me responded with $500 off sticker price. Even after I called the other 3 dealerships and told them what Lakeland offered, they would not budge from their offer of $500 off. Dave Lindow was the salesperson at the time. He emailed me the quote and he followed up with a phone call. We drove over the following day or so. He had the car ready and cleaned up. My husband stated, it was the first time he purchased a car when everything went so smoothly. That being said, when I decided to get a smaller car. I decided on a Honda Fit. I followed the same procedure and put out emails to the Honda dealers in my area. I was hopingnot to have to drive $160 miles to purchase a new car. However, like the first time, Lakeland was able to come up with the best price again. My Myles was very helpful over the phone, and he also followed our conversation with an email of our conversation. This time I was also going to trade my 2007 Honda CR-V for the new Fit. He gave me a very fair (sight-unseen) quote over the phone for my CR-V. We made arrangements to drive over to Lakeland the following Monday. Brian Wagoner was the salesperson we dealt with for the purchase of the new Honda Fit. He took care of everything beautifully. He was enthusiastic and attentive to our needs. We also got a nice offer on the trade-in and did not have to pay alot more to receive a New 2010 Honda Fit. All of the people at lakeland were very gracious and did what they could to make our experience a pleasant one. The next time we purchase a new car we will drive over to Lakeland again. I don't mind telling anyone who asks where I got my car and about my experience with you fine folks. Thanks again.
